Safe Haven Ministries

In Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rockford recently constructed a new 20,000 sq. ft. building for Safe Haven Ministries, a non-profit organization that provides shelter and educational resources for women and children suffering from domestic abuse. The new two-story building consolidates Safe Haven’s residential space and administrative offices into a single location, allowing them to serve their clients more efficiently and effectively.

In total, the new building includes 14 residential rooms, several meeting rooms, a kitchen, a meditation chapel, training rooms, play spaces for children, and staff offices. All of the paint colors, furniture, and other finishes in the space were thoughtfully considered to ensure each client feels welcome and at home.
