An existing 300,000 sq. ft. distribution warehouse was transformed into corporate office space for Meijer. The building, situated on Meijer’s Walker campus, is state of the art in terms of communication and technology.
The building is encompassed by nearly all glass, including a 120 ft. by 20 ft. skylight, providing natural light throughout the offices, conference rooms, and lobby. The building also features a newly-added mezzanine, courtyard, Starbuck’s, full-service kitchen and café, and a raised access floor that contains the mechanical, electrical, and communication systems for the building-providing a more modern, collaborative work environment for the Midwest retailer for years to come.
