After decades of building and remodeling hundreds of Meijer supercenter stores, our dedicated Meijer team is wrapping up new concept stores for the Midwest grocery leader, including these more compact, grocery-focused stores in Metro Detroit. The first of their kind, these “grocery” format stores are smaller than the larger retail/merchandise supercenters and will be grocery-forward, offering fresh produce, fresh meat, dry grocery items and a bakery in a condensed, quick-to-navigate layout. The locations will also feature departments such as baby, pharmacy, pets and cards/floral.
