Grand Rapids Christian High School’s $22 million-dollar renovation and expansion prepares students for the global workforce by creating spaces that encourage project work, flexibility, inter- and intra-department collaboration and the integration of technology. The renovation’s innovative design supports 21st Century learning, emphasizing collaboration, teamwork and creative problem solving. The project entailed renovating the 165,000 sq. ft. school to create a new media center, classrooms, community space, and open dining room. In addition, a 26,000 sq. ft. science wing expansion features seven biology, physiology, and chemistry laboratory and laboratory preparation room.
