A true transformation took place at Rockford Construction’s project at 200 Monroe Ave. in Grand Rapids. An existing building was completely gutted down to the steel and concrete structure to allow a world-class corporate office space to take shape.
Part of the transformation included adding a seventh story to the existing building structure. Additionally, the interior was completed with absolute attention to detail – no feature or finishing touch was overlooked. The 148,500-sq.-ft., Class A office space was designed with intention and executed to perfection by Rockford’s trade contractor partners.

The space features high-end custom details and design focal points throughout the office, including stunning terrazzo floors, custom walnut wall panels with metal inlay detailing, acoustic ceiling fabrics and walls, and high-tech automated lighting controls.
The entry plaza leads to an expansive lobby, and the interior of the building features a four-story live wall with integrated irrigation. Technology-rich offices and open spaces, meeting rooms and employee amenities including a cafeteria and creative spaces round out the facility.
