The highly anticipated BLOCK600 development in the heart of downtown Lansing sits along Michigan Avenue and across from Lugnut Stadium. The site features BLOCK600 Lofts – 35 residential apartments; Capital City Market – Meijer’s third neighborhood market in the state; and a 122-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel. This project transforms the livability and visitor experience within Lansing’s Stadium District, providing easier access to groceries and fresh produce along with the amenities and accommodations that were needed downtown.
Standing five stories tall, BLOCK600 is clad with metal panels, brick, and storefront glazing. A complete site package was part of the project’s scope, which includes more than 300 parking spaces adjacent to the new structure.
The Rockford team successfully worked through a challenging schedule on the BLOCK600 project, partnering with both the surrounding neighborhood and the City of Lansing to transform a contaminated site into a game-changing, mixed-use development that the community can be proud of for years to come.
