Located within the Live6 community, a block of three vacant buildings were demolished to make way for the new, three-story, mixed-use facility. Named after local artist Tylonn Sawyer, who has been commissioned to paint two murals on the building’s exterior, Sawyer Art Apartments will offer 38 affordable apartments and additional ground-floor retail. The development will house two studio, 24 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom units and will additionally encompass 29 parking spaces, a rooftop deck and an accessible corner plaza.
