The capstone of the Grand Rapids Innovation Park in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, 430 Monroe serves as the North American Corporate Headquarters for Perrigo Company plc. Occupying more than 60,000 sq. ft. on the top three floors of the building, the Perrigo team enjoys a modern office space that features intricate millwork, high-end interior finishes and a grand staircase that cuts across floors 8, 9 and 10. Rockford worked closely with the Perrigo team to achieve their aesthetic goals for the space while also deploying innovative construction methods – including the installation of a pre-fabricated wall panel system – to ensure the project remained on schedule.
430 Monroe is part of the Grand Rapids Innovation Park (GRIP), a healthcare innovation hub inspiring collaboration among companies working in the biomedical, bioengineering and healthcare fields. The campus consists of Michigan State University’s existing Grand Rapids Research Center as well as the DMMIB. With many projects all taking place on the same site, Rockford teams coordinated carefully to achieve project goals and safety.
"It’s been a special relationship – Rockford was on time and on budget throughout the project, which is miraculous through this time of inflation and supply chain challenges. Our hats are off to Rockford and what they’ve done to put us in a position for this wonderful new headquarters."
Jim Dillard, Executive Vice President and President, Consumer Self-Care Americas, Perrigo
