Michigan State University’s Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building (DMMIB) utilizes all Rockford’s service offerings. Rockford constructed the 205,000-sq.-ft. building as part of the second phase of Michigan State University’s Grand Rapids Innovation Park as a space to create synergy among academic medicine, healthcare delivery systems and industry partners. The 7-story building will house office space, collaboration areas, clinical space and a world-class radiopharmacy at Bold Advanced Medical Future (BAMF) Health. Rockford Property Management will provide a full slate of services for the building, including leasing, maintenance, asset management and more. The team has also been heavily involved in performing pre-stabilization work as we collaborate with Rockford’s real estate development and construction arms to set the foundation for the property’s success.
In addition to the high level of service that will be offered to the building’s tenants, visitors and owners, Rockford’s property management team will work diligently to help maximize interactions among the businesses operating inside, including within the Innovation Hub space on the fourth floor. Rockford will also provide significant value to the physical asset by connecting DMMIB’s tenants to the broader community, which will ultimately lead to additional opportunities for tenants and clients alike. The construction of the building in Phase Two also included a 600-car parking deck and green space.
