Ferris State University - Rock Cafe

Rock Cafe renovation brings marketplace concept dining to Ferris students and faculty.

Ferris State University's Rock Café serves nearly 60% of all meals consumed on campus. Rockford renovated the 30,000 sq. ft. café into a marketplace concept, which provides an integrated food production and dining experience with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and made-to-order preparation - offering the type of dining experience where food becomes the star and the staff is on stage. The new Rock Café opened to students and staff in August 2009. Rockford completed the renovation in five months, all within the existing building's footprint. Averaging 5,000 diners each day, the new Rock Café has been a mouth-watering success for all who enter.
